In the first lesson toward your gold Merit badge, you'll explore:

  • Measuring this capacity qualitatively, and using this to build motivation.

  • How to discover your personal short-term and long-term motivations surrounding donor cultivation.

  • The connection between basic human needs and your team's motivations surrounding donor cultivation.

  • The practice of identifying each team member's autonomy, purpose, and sense of mastery as motivational levers.
